Slipway was born out of the old Junk Yard of one of the biggest ship repair companies in South Africa and is still located next to the Saldanha Slipway.
The owners bought the space from the ship repair company and converted it into a Fine Restaurant overlooking the bay many years ago.
The interior of the venu reflects the history of the owner Mr Rob Schaafsma and memorabilia of his sailing journeys adorn the walls.
